🎯 Who This Plan Is For

This 8-week plan is built around the core content most commonly tested across KRCHN and BScN papers: Medical-Surgical Nursing, Midwifery, Community Health Nursing, and Pharmacology. If your cadre has additional specialty content, add an extra week for that topic specifically.

Daily Study Structure

1

Active recall first (45 min)

Review your notes on the day's topic using active recall — cover the content and try to explain it out loud or write it from memory, rather than just re-reading.

2

Practice questions (45 min)

Work through 20–25 MCQs on the day's topic. Read every rationale, even for questions you got right — the reasoning matters as much as the answer.

3

Log your weak points (15 min)

Keep a running list of topics or question types you consistently miss. Review this list weekly and prioritise it in your next study block.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is 8 weeks enough to prepare for the NCK exam?
For most candidates who have completed their coursework and clinical rotations, 8 weeks of focused daily revision is sufficient. If you are also working or have limited daily study time, consider extending to 10–12 weeks.
Should I start with my weakest subject or strongest subject?
Start with your weakest subject while your motivation and energy are highest, early in the plan. Save lighter review of your strongest subject for the final week.
How many practice questions should I aim to complete in total?
Aim for at least 800–1,000 practice questions across all topics before your exam, with particular focus on topics where your accuracy is below 75%.
